Hi, I'm Martha Jackson.
I'm the founder and host of The Bubble Lounge, a hyper-local media platform dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, events, and stories that make Highland Park and University Park such a special place to call home.
What started in 2018 as a simple podcast has grown into a trusted community resource reaching thousands of Park Cities families through podcasting, social media, video storytelling, and local coverage. Today, The Bubble Lounge has more than 190,000 podcast listeners, 350+ episodes, over 10,000 Instagram followers, and a highly engaged audience that turns to us to discover who to know, where to go, and what to do in the Park Cities.
As a University Park resident for more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of raising my family here, volunteering alongside incredible community leaders, supporting local nonprofits, and building relationships with the people who make this community thrive. In 2025, I was honored to be named University Park Citizen of the Year, a recognition that reflects the deep connection I feel to this community and the work I love doing every day.
In addition to The Bubble Lounge, I write a monthly column for People Newspapers, where I share stories about the people, traditions, and moments that bring our community together. Whether I'm interviewing a local business owner, covering a charity event, highlighting student achievements, or sharing a neighborhood story, my goal is always the same: to shine a light on what makes the Park Cities unique.
At its core, The Bubble Lounge is about connection. It's about celebrating local, supporting one another, and telling the stories that matter.
